Bilbo is so boomerpilled
Oh boy, I sure do hope Ridley Scott presents things in an unbiased fashion and doesn't fall into his usual anti-Christian anti-Western shtick
that would be annoying, I tell ye hwat!
So when Christopher Lee says "Khazâd-Dûm" in Fellowship at 1:57:12 (extended ed.), he pronounces "KH" like the spanish jota, which is how it's pronounced in Sindarin. But Appendix E of RotK clearly states the Dwarvish "KH" is an aspirant, like in "bacKHouse". Plot hole, amirite?

If nothing matters, then it doesn't matter that nothing matters. So everything matters. Including the fact that nothing does.
Or perhaps it doesn't matter whether or not the fact nothing matters matters, as long as we assume some things matter... or perhaps this tweet doesn't m-

Aaah, but adapting the Appendices would require reading... lots of reading... and remaining faithful to the works of the man whose dedication to his craft made the very golden goose they're attempting to profit off of
Nobody got time for that!
25 minutes in and we've had the Most Evil Inquisition burning people alive, an atheist protagonist who knows better than everyone else and can't control his emotions, and poor Muslims whose great culture is being crushed by evil Hwite boys.
Is this a Kingdom of Heaven speedrun?

Oooooh, and the Indians are so beautiful, man, like their God is Nature bro, they see God in the leaves on the trees bro...
Unlike Whiteys who only think about gold and power and dogma, like, yuck, amirite?
Oh, and he hates authority and bangs someone else's wife
It's a good thing people told me Ridley Scott was not a fraud, if not I'd be having opinions right now
@BlessedSouthpaw
I'll agree with him on one thing: it did make me feel like a kid.
Like when you're 10, but that old aunt/uncle won't stop talking to you like you're still a toddler.

Ah, finally, we have our very own Mister Murder, to contrast with our precious too-pure-for-this-world Columbus who just wants peace
How is everything going to turn out, I wonder?
"So the Feast of the Annunciation takes place on March 25th right? But this year, we honour it on on April 8th, instead. But check this out: the One Ring got destroyed on March 25th, and Sam & Frodo were honoured on April 8th. Crazy, right?"

... You know he doesn't have much of a choice in the matter, right?
He didn't write the script, or direct any scenes. If anything, this video seems to indicate his feedback was disregarded by the writing team.
Remember in The Lion King when Simon and Pumberg manipulate a child into eating bugs and singing "Hannukah Matata" until he abandons his heritage and responsibilities for a life of aimless leisure?

Okay get this: Abigail the Amish prostitute falls madly in love with Powatan of the Eagle-Scrotum tribe, but her world falls apart when she finds out he's still sleeping with his gay roommate Nanabozo of the Cotton-Tail clan
(Plot twist: she actually dreamed up the whole thing)
Christopher Tolkien watching from above journalists, bloggers and TheOneRing(.)net's tweets "discussing" whether or not his father's work was racist, woke, anti-SJW, or devoid of any spiritual value beyond escapism:
