"Soulless Nintendo 'games" when all of the games they've work on are very successful big hitters. This was the best acquisition for Monosoft since Nintendo actually gave them the freedom to do what they wanted. Monosoft is more successful/important now than they ever have been.

To this day, Xenoblade 2 still has the best hardest difficulty I've ever seen. Bringer of Chaos isn't just "up enemy number," it fundamentally changes the mechanics of the games to create a real challenge. Custom on top of that is the cherry. Monolith is still the goatiest🙏🏽❤

As someone who's grown up playing almost entirely Nintendo, it blows my mind to see how massive some games' file sizes are. Some games hit over 100GB while I'm flabbergasted at anything over 20. MW3 is 234.9GB JUST FOR EARLY ACCESS while TOTK is barely breaking 16. It's wild. .

Another reason Nintendo will always reign supreme for me. They actually focus on making their games actually fun to play instead of making them look the prettiest. Yes I know everyone cares so much about performance for whatever reason, but I don't care as long as it's fun.
