When I’m on the brink of tears in Parliament, part of me wonders “Am I cut out for this?” Then I remember we need more people who cry/feel the real threat of what we're facing. Here's my heartfelt plea to not look away & for action that matches the scale & urgency of the crisis.

For now, I’m going to treasure the extra time with my family, and hold my kids a little tighter. But no matter what, I will keep fighting - for climate justice, an end to gender-based violence, and for a politics fiercely rooted in love, empathy, and care. Thank you! (7/7)

This wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, but the values that ground us - justice, compassion, courage, and care - are bigger than any one campaign. And I know that the movement we’ve built here in Victoria will continue to grow. (6/7)

Many people on the door shared they wanted to vote NDP but felt too scared - of Trump and of Poilievre - and so many people said “it’s just this one time.” (5/7)

Together, we accomplished so much: 🦷 dental care 💊 pharmacare 👶 investments in childcare 🌏 eliminating international fossil fuel subsidies ❤️changing the criminal code to better support survivors And so much more. (4/7)

And to the hundreds of volunteers, staff, and supporters who gave your all to this campaign: I hope you feel as proud of yourselves as I am of you. Every door, every conversation, every early morning and late night - it was all worth it. (3/7)
