@iamslickrick_ Bashir edited and manipulated him in the documentary. This is common knowledge. The mom had her son hold mjs hand and lay his head on his shoulder which caught mj off guard. Bashir was called out for the antics he used to make Michael look bad when it aired.

@iamslickrick_ Understand his life and pov. You'e framing it from the pov of someone who had a normal childhood and wasn't relentlessly abused/ exploited from his father and the industry. Many child stars speak about how he helped them with their own awful parents/managers.

@iamslickrick_ He opened his home up to everyone. He loved and protected children. But people took advantage of that. He wasn’t soliciting people to come have “sleepovers”. Kids would follow him around and ask their parents if they could stay. And it was hard for him to say no.

@iamslickrick_ What he endured in his childhood in the industry made him more naive. Still, kids staying with a trusted adult isn’t weird. Many of his celeb friends let their kids stay with him and still defend him. They were not random kids. And he never asked a child to stay with him.
