So many authors on the Dissident Right are busying themselves competing with one another to be the next Dostoevsky by writing a Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, when in fact what the world needs right now more than anything, is dissident YA literature
(A Thread 🧵1/5)
‘40K is satire’ is peak cope. No man has ever, in his heart-of-hearts, put a poster of a Space Marine on his wall just to “remind him of the dangers of fascism.” Some men are so far gone and irony poisoned when they experience something aspirational they have no idea what it is.
I dislike the Warhammer 40k is satire debates because it’s all a bunch of Leftists trying to control optics and arguing with them is pointless. However, I will say this, if you create imagery that people naturally want to identify with, you have failed miserably in satire.
Only me and handful of Internet Autists are likely to read your Great Western Novel - at least in your lifetime. And that's IF you can achieve it. Whereas a YA novel is something that could be read by thousands. Based dads could read it to their based sons.
Aim lower, Anon

My son’s soccer coach called me this AM. He threw out his back and asked if I could coach in his place today.
I started off practice with a reading from Carl Schmitt on the friend/enemy distinction.
We need a YA novel where the protagonist is simply Alpha: an exemplar of Master Morality. The MVP. Beloved by his hometown. Trusted by his friends and teammates. While he is a natural athlete and leader, he still works hard and puts in the effort to grow stronger.

I lost my job due to Covid some time ago, and in applying to new positions, I’ve encountered dozens of positions that require “supplemental essays”: essentially personal statements on your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The antagonist is the opposite of our hero: weak, beta, resentful, sexually disordered in some way; a purveyor of slave morality. If there's any 'magic' or 'superpowers' in the book at all, he should be the only character to possess them; using them to exact revenge.

Greatest Gen = death of extended kin network
Baby boomers = death of extended family
Gen X = death of nuclear family
Millennials = death of marriage
Gen Z = transgenderism
Gen Alpha = transhumanism
There’s this specific genre of book that has no real outward name. It’s those books that set out to prove through data and expertise and experimentation and exhaustive research what everyone knew already, instinctively, was evil and wrong.
The only characteristic of his love interest is that she's The Prettiest Girl In School. None of that Hermione Grainger Shit. IDGAF if she's valedictorian. Homer only ever describes the Aegean Sea as the 'Wine Dark Water.' The only description of her is that she's the PGOAT

When I tell people I plan to rule over my daughter and her decision-making like a medieval lord, who can look at the absolute state of millennial and Gen Z women and honestly tell me there is the slightest thing wrong with my plan?
women today are able to fight natural urges in ways no one could’ve ever imagined—with profound distractions, games that simply never end, & junk void of any real meaning to fill the gaps.

When I finished the speech, a little boy asked “So the other soccer team is our enemy?”
“The other team? Billy I’m talking about the World Economic Forum!”
Zendaya is the Barack Obama of female beauty. White Women worship her for the exact same reasons they worshipped Obama. They hope that in doing so they will be absolved of all their sins and she will bring about an end to all aesthetic inequality.
You know that guy who is perfectly upstanding in his own personal life (traditional, conservative, married, monogamous, physically fit, healthy etc.) but an utter moral relativist and cultural libertarian for anything and everything that happens outside his immediate family? I
It’s impossible to distinguish at this point if progressive programs are offering a passionate, sincere polemic in defense of liberal values or if they are just a desperate cry for help.
I’ve grown so tired of these, that I’ve just begun copying and pasting the following statement: “The only HR department officials that I acknowledge are the motherfucking Valkyrie. And the only rainbow I give a damn about is the bridge to Valhalla.”
Watched this movie recently for the first time and I think I’ve solved the riddle of Gen Z sterility. I think they all saw this film and said “Is this what Millennials are up to? Is this what romantic love looks like? Then fuck it: I’m asexual now and identity as a lampshade.”
I'm pleased to announce the first ever annual Last Picture Shows Film Festival. Here's how this is going to work: Over the course of the next 2 months, I will be conducting 30 film reviews with 30 dissident content creators. (1/5)
Haidt Circa 2024: “Gen Alpha is screwed and quickly devolving into a tech addicted, scarcely human, androgynous pile of sludge with every conceivable personality disorder appearing all at once within each individual subject.”
Me: “Yeah no shit.”
Listening to boomers talk non-stop about Biden’s address is like watching a little kid who thinks he’s playing a video game in an arcade but he hasn’t actually put in a quarter and the game is just showing video clips.
I hesitated to comment on the 'Roman Empire' meme last month back when it was 'the current thing', but I can't stop thinking about it; I doubt I have anything to say that hasn't been said, but it truly is the reductio ad absurdum for why most women cannot and should not rule. 1/4
In fact he thinks the fact that you A.) do notice and B.) care is a sign of your own mental illness and that you’re probably suffering from the exact same personality disorder as the people on the opposite side of the culture war that you criticize.
Fuck that guy.
Leftists will mention “it’s the creators themselves that claim it to be satire.” I don’t care what the creators said or thought. They may very well have been the ur-leftists living in denial. When they went home they flagellated themselves in front of their space marine poster.
It’s interesting what differing intuitions men and women have when it comes to shielding their sons. My wife balks at the slightest violence in a movie, whereas I balk at the slightest hint of sex.
I know a boy can recover from a beating; yet he may never recover from a woman.
Sure he thinks it’s ‘silly’ that his kid’s kindergarten teacher ‘non-binary’. He thinks his neighbors’ kid who transitioned is pretty strange and cringe, but he doesn’t let it get him down. He’s convinced all his children need is to bask in the glow of his radiating goodness.
The whole world can crumble around him. Their kid’s schools can suck. Their community can suck. Films, book, and television can suck. It doesn’t phase him and he barely notices.
I think I’m starting to resent him even more than I do progressives. I have a good working theory of mind and mental model for progressives. But I just can’t wrap my head around That Guy.
Millennial dads like to brag when they introduce their sons to video games. They fail to realize that, while we had video games and turned out ok, they’re a complete disaster for Gen Z. I’ve never met a member of Gen Z who is simultaneously into video games and well-adjusted. (1)
Doesn’t he want his kids to grow up in a culture they can be proud of? Doesn’t he want to live in a culture that reflects his values? Does he think previous generations of upright men lived their lives in a total vacuum? Does he ever even think about The Roman Fucking Empire?
But I think sometimes that I hate him because deep down I’m worried that he might be right. And all my angst is just wasted energy. That I should have just grilled. 😔
@saffronett
I don’t consider being ‘simply alpha’ as synonymous with being ‘simply perfect.’ Alpha is a growth mindset. Alphas are always seeking to beat their own personal records.

Joe Rogan is the Settlers of Catan of cultural commentators: it speaks well of someone if they are aware of him and play him on occasion, but there’s still no way you’re gonna break out the heavy shit with them.
Screw the optics! I’m reading

I read 12 books this year. One of those books was Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit. 11 of those books were readers guides and secondary sources for Hegel’s Phenomenology of Spirit.
You can’t act flummoxed about why men (allegedly) have all the power then act surprised that men spend time thinking about how power actually works historically; how is it won, how it accrues, and how it is lost: you the have answer to your question. 4/4
For the 100th time today I heard a boomer make the following non-statement about anybody not comfortable with so many members of Gen Z going trans: “it’s just a sign that we’re getting old. It’s just
Generational.” This is peak whiggery. (1/2)
I’m applying to graduate schools and have to answer all of these normie essay questions: “Write about a book that changed your life.” Etc., etc,. I keep face planting with my responses and falling outside the acceptable Overton Window.
It’s like the biggest female ‘Own Goal’ I’ve ever seen. And I follow ‘women posting their Ls.’ If you are a woman who complains about 'male power' but you can't see the irony in this, for the sake of humanity please remove yourself from public life. 3/4
@PPromulgation
@blacklistm8
Right. I would say we have lacked proper reverence for ancestry for a few generations, but with the boomers it have achieved total antipathy.
Men are the architects of civilization. Why act surprised to learn they spend time thinking about the longest, most successful civilization? it's like be surprised when you learn a stock car racer spends a ton of time thinking about driving? Or a surgeon surgery? 2/4

I’d add to this that every historical character study of a woman just shows us a 2021 Californian: Emily Dickinson, Catherine The Great, Margaret fucking Thatcher; all shitlibs. Even movies about female monarchs manage to get in a line about how women should have the vote.
If I suddenly became America’s ‘Minister of Culture’, handed all of the money and the power in the world, and given to task to of turning all millennial white women away from progressivism, I could not have created a better piece of propaganda than Lena Dunham’s ‘Girls.’
Isn’t it a terrifying thought that one day gen alpha will look back at how worried their millennial dads were that their children would elect to cut off their own genitalia as ‘quaint and antiquated?’
@a_centrism
I think red staters in fact completely understand this. They also understand that they would have an actual country again. Not just an economic zone.
I am very proud to announce the nominees for the 2023 first-ever ANNUAL FROGGIE AWARDS in Film Criticism! There are a total of 5 Categories. We already have 1 winner:

for The Fren's Choice Award, as his video was voted on by all of you to be released freely (1/12)
They don’t seem to understand that the video games we played as kids were the equivalent of 90s-era street weed. Gen-Z, on the other hand, has been smoking shit that has been cultivated and perfected in laboratories for the past 30 years. (2)
What does anyone think is being accomplished by pointing out that a social phenomenon is ‘generational?’ Imagine being alive during WWI and noticing all the young people returning from the front lines with missing limbs, and commenting that “it must be generational.” (2/3)
I can’t get over how damn impressive all the young men on the e-right are. Despite being under 30,

When I express my interest in home schooling to parents with kids in public school I always get the same response: “Ew. But if you keep your kids home then they won’t be well-socialized.” Which prompts 3 follow-up questions: 🧵 (1/4)

I’m waiting for a Nietzschean who is also a family man who is trying to do right by their kids. I’m waiting for a Christian family man who can beat a Nietzschean in single combat.
My channel has been hovering at around ~4.6k subscribers for the better part of a year — until now when it just dramatically shot up past 5k. I want to thank everyone of you who has ever stopped to give it a bump. You are my true frens. ❤️
I have 10 film reviews recorded, 10 more booked and scheduled, and 10 seats left for reviewers. It's time for me to send out another 'red rover' wishlist of guests and films. Here goes:
Epilogue: I think it’s a bit telling that a lot of replies to this thread equate the state of being ‘Alpha’ as ‘Static. Devoid of conflict.’ This is a resentful, romanticized perspective. All the alphas I know (real and fictional) are in a constant state of conflict and struggle.

Aside from Tolkein, C.S. Lewis is arguably the most influential writer of fantasy literature in the 20th century. However, I don't consider this to be his most impressive intellectual achievement. (1/4)
A STRANGE CROWDSOURCING REQUEST:
I am trying to collect sound clips and sound bites of people talking in e-right gibberish, such to the extent that a normie would not be able to parse the insider language to discern what was actually being said. E.g. “That Chad mogged the
ANNOUNCEMENT: On Friday, Dec 1st, I will be publishing one film review for free on YouTube. I'm going to let The People decide which review to release by letting frens vote and conducting an Elimination, Battle-Royale tournament. Round 1 starts below. (1x)
Lewis achieved this in 1943, well before anyone had coined the phrase ‘postmodern’; a term which only arose in the 1970s. He traced the outlines of postmodernism well before most of the intellectuals who would come to be identified with postmodernity even began to write. (3/4)

Back in 2015, one of the last TV shows that I was able to consume passively, was Joss Whedon's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 🧵 (1/4)
The best articulation I've ever come across on our current spiritual struggle is that it's between 'Nowhere People' and 'Somewhere People.' I'm pretty sure I'm a Nowhere Person, though my sympathies lie with Somewhere People. And I'd really like my kids to be from Somewhere.
My YouTube Channel is where you can find the majority of my work. I examine both the intended and the unintended ways in which film and television embody liberal ideology.
