It's a story far greater than anything Dickens ever wrote about because it has the power to defeat sin and give eternal life to each person who turns to God in repentance and places their trust in the Lord Jesus. I wrote the following illustrations to present a fuller description of mankind’s problem and God’s solution as presented in the New Testament. I hope they will be helpful to you.

Homosexuality is one of many sins the Bible says brings separation between God and mankind. The Bible does not instruct Christians to hate homosexuals but to pray for them just as we are told to pray for all who choose to live contrary to God's word. The Bible says there is hope for all who sin. The life of every person who turns to God in repentance and places their trust in the Lord Jesus is tranformed as we are told below: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor practicing homosexuals 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
