I am more in favor of nuke. If you have been paying attention, we have been removing dams, in favor of fish. We (not me) want to remove dams on the snake river. Seattle city is being pressured to remove their dams in favor of the fish. Dams have already been removed in Washington near Port Angles, and in Oregon on the klamath river 3 dams have been removed. In the Willamette valley lakes are lowered to below generation levels during summer months in favor of fish. Environmentalist want the dams gone! I come back to my original that solar and wind do not solve the problem. We need electricity, there are limited ways to generate it. Everyone needs to decide, do you want to have lights and heat, charge your car, charge you phone, charge your laptop, cook dinner, make coffee, or do without

Speaking as an EXPERT in this field. Wind and solar will never meet our needs. Brown outs and Blackouts are coming to the PNW in a short period of time. I have worked for SCE, Bureau of Reclamation, corps of engineers, and Bonneville Power. I started in this field in 1972. If you wants your lights to stay on, one or more of the conventional forms of generation MUST be used. Solar plants are being shut down!
