The Course was walked this morning by the Area Inspector and Senior Steward and they have given the going asGood, Good to Soft in Places. It is not expected to change - the course is, amazingly, still draining well.

The going on Larkhill is currently GOOD. We are expecting rain but do not think it will make that much difference as the ground is still draining well.Entries close tomorrow for the RA meeting next Saturday.

Just to let you all know for the 18th, the RA Meeting - we will be moving all the fences and bends before then, so racing will be on totally fresh ground all round!! Look forward to seeing you all there.

Course was walked today by the Senior Steward and Course Inspector who report that the going is GOOD. We are not expecting this to change. See you all Sunday!

Due to high entries this coming Sunday for the Larkhill Racing Club meeting, the first race will now be at 10.30 am - and not 11.30 as advertised. This is to ensure we can get all racing in before we lose the light. We will not be allowing Galloping after racing this time. Sorry.

Going is currently Good to Soft. We have a good covering of grass, all bends have been moved. We have two new fences since the last meeting. We are not expecting any significant change in the going over the next week. Course will be officially walked next week. Happy Xmas

The tracks approaching the racecourse are not usable from the western side. Instead, please use the main track leading off the A345. Please see marked map below.

Due to a very high entry, the Hursley Hambledon meeting at Larkhill has been moved to half an hour earlier than stated. The first race will be at 11.30am - not 12.00 as previously advertised.

The Aggravating has gone really well and made a big difference to the feel of the ground Seamus Mullins galloped a horse this morning and is very happy with it The ground is safe and level with no sting and a very good covering of grass. The course is looking-and feeling-great.

The going at Larkhill is Good to Firm, Firm in places. The course is both level and safe with a good covering of grass over all. We are Aggravating the fences and racing line and aiming for Good to Firm all over.

Course has been officially inspected and the going is GOOD TO FIRM. Fences 1-5 have been moved to fresh ground and all the bends have been moved. First race 1.00pm on Saturday 30th March.
