My grandfather passed away yesterday evening peacefully surrounded by his family. I visited him two weeks ago and gave him a copy of my last front page story, which he raved about for days afterward. I’ll cherish these emails forever ❤️.

A BRPD officer was fired 23 years ago for sexual misconduct and dishonesty on the job. He tried to appeal the termination multiple times, unsuccessfully. But as of March, he's been reinstated and is back on patrol.

I talked to an LSU herpetologist (snake expert) about Cara the python and learned a Burmese python can go up to a year without eating- so she could be chilling in the mall for a while.
