Our front court just got better! 7 footer Tim Ighoefe is our latest addition.
While at Georgetown he started 21 games and also averaged 2.8 ppg and 5.7 rpg in his final season. As junior at Cal Baptist he put up 5.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 2.2 bpg.

We are excited to add Josh Smith to our family! The 6’9 forward put up huge numbers at Mountain View averaging 18.5 ppg, 11.2 rpg, and 4.1 bpg.

Jamir Reed comes to Langston from Philadelphia with three years to play. As a freshman at D1 Central Connecticut State he averaged 8.3 ppg to go along with 4.6 rpg. Jamir is a big, physical guard that can score at all three levels.

Another day, another big time addition! Cortez Mosley played two years at Moberly CC, winning two regional championships before playing last season at Colby CC. The 6’6 swingman from Peoria, IL will be extremely productive and provide great versatility.

Mario averaged 8.9 ppg and 3.8 rpg at UTEP. Prior to that he was also extremely productive at New Mexico State, John A. Logan, and Missouri.

From Gray, LA welcome point guard A.J. Rainey to our family. He was named the RRAC Newcomer of the Year along with being selected as an Honorable Mention NAIA All-American. Rainey averaged 18.3 ppg, 4.6 apg, and 4.3 rpg last year at LSUA.

Welcome another Division 1 transfer in 6’6 forward Chereef Knox. Knox played his freshman year at Saint Joesph’s averaging 4.2 ppg. As a Covid freshman he averaged 5.8ppg at Coppin State. The Philly native provides our front-court with a lot of versatility & skill.

From Pittsburgh, PA welcome 6’11 James Ellis! After spending two years at Duquesne he played his sophomore season at The CC of Beaver County. The forward averaged 12.7 ppg while grabbing 7.5 rpg.

Welcome D’Monte Brown, a 6’4 wing from Petersburg, VA! Last year at Miami Dade he averaged 16.2 ppg and 6.2 rpg while shooting 54% from the field and 35% from 3. He was also named Second Team All-Southern Conference.

6’7 forward Cedric Roland comes to Langston after redshirting at Talladega College this past season. Roland last played at Coffeyville Community College where he averaged 9.3 ppg and 5 rpg. During his two years at Coffeyville the team won a combined 51 games.
