The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery are delighted to launch Sensory Backpacks in the Museum for visitors with Autism.
With fidget toys, ear defenders, picture communication cards, a magnifying glass, picture books and a soft toy. Just ask at reception.
Well done and thank you to all our pupils who raised a total of £652 for Comic Relief with our Mr Tumble Sign a long. We even had a surprise visit from Mr Tumble himself!
We are delighted to inform you that we have won 2nd in the additional support needs section of the Scottish Interfaith Art Project. Potterhill, Langton & Linthaugh were involved in this.
We’ve set up a Teams channel to share good practice when supporting pupils to use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). It can be difficult to find easily accessible information when supporting children with communication difficulties and we are hoping this will 1/

Our P7s enjoyed their prom today, inviting along some of their friends to join in the fun and dancing. Thank you so much to parents Karen and Lynn for their hard work - the room was transformed with balloons and decorations. Everyone looked lovely and had a wonderful time

A big garden makeover creating a safe, private & interactive space for the pupils. We created a small den building area, a sensory wall & path, a messy play area with mud kitchen & DIY water wall, replaced rotten planters &tamed the 30ft willow! 😊
We are super proud of this young man who shows true determination in anything that he is presented with. He loved using his new chariot to independently travel up and down the corridor.
We had a fantastic literacy week at Langlands Primary, engaging with reading, writing, talking and listening in lots of different ways. Thank you to our friends
