It was a tough weekend but we ended up coming out on top! I am so proud of my 14u team for winning a 16 open tournament! We lost to the roadrunners 1-0 on Saturday but that did not stop us from winning 11-0 in the championship game. I batted .500 with an OBP of .562, slugging

Day two of three and the final day of pool play in the books and we made the gold bracket! I batted .571 today with 3 singles and a homerun. We went 2-1 today making our overall record so far 3-2-1. Elimination tomorrow!

I am so proud of my team for fighting hard and making a deep run at nationals placing 3rd out of 18 teams and we were 1 of two teams undefeated in the first three games of pool play. I batted .391, OBP .391, OPS 1.043, SLG .652, had 7 singles, 2 home runs, and 8 RBI’s.

It was a great first day of the Atlantic Coast Elite Showcase. Our record today (1-1) didn’t count towards our placement for elimination because today was mainly for showcasing our talent. I didn’t have my best day on offense batting .250 but I made up for it on defense with a

It was a great end of the Firebirds 09’s season placing fifth in Richmond in the 16 open division out of 27 teams. I batted .471, OBP .500, OPS 1.088, SLG .588, 6 singles, 2 doubles, 3 RBI’s, 1 walk, BA/RISP .667, and 7 hard hit balls. I also caught a runner stealing.
