Our conscience is our sanctuary; none can violate its space; within it, reality has already been reformed. it is the space of our freedom and of constant deidentification with whatever has already been reshaped by it. Conscience operates silently and fixes the world.
Conscience is the force behind the movement of history and of human evolution. Although humans learn the lessons of their presence on earth with a slow pace, Conscience at the end would prevail.

So much pain, death and destruction because some people are sunk into the disused tools of the past. This war cannot be explained with the moral sense of our age. Something evil nurtured it. And we so unaccustomed to this evil.
@TimothyDSnyder
Putin’s regime is based on an imaginary world of friends and enemies, spheres of influence and cultural exceptionalism. Russian people in fact cannot existentially connect with such an ideological network, which exists only in the minds of the ideologues.
@NikaMelkozerova
There is something horrible with the “Russian God” And Russian conscience, something terribly wrong. When a country bocks off all the mechanisms that produce conscience, then it yields evil.
@vonderleyen
Ukraine fights for a European orientation; for coevolution with European values; for respect of subjective conscience; for the roots of western democratic tradition. Ukraine deserves the path it has chosen.
The suffering of the people of Ukraine cannot be described with words nor can be easily understood by outsiders. The democratic world should never leave Ukraine alone. Ukrainian people are fighting for future generations.
Authoritarian regimes violate human nature; they prevent it from flourishing and sunk it into a web of distorted ideas and practices. Only an evolving democracy is compatible with and responsive to the dictates of human nature
Humanity is old enough to devise a form of government that accommodates the injunctions of the mind, feelings and conscience. Enough with wars, hardships and moral indifference towards people who are suffering.
Work should not mean absence of free time. Free time should be recognised as a right. Humans have the right to read, travel, exercise and reflect upon the big questions of life. Life should be meaningful for everyone or at least everyone should have the opportunity to make it so.
Blessed are those who have reached the edge of meaninglessness for they have cleansed their souls and fixed themselves upon what really matters the most.
@TimothyDSnyder
Behind this war there is a whole moral and mental system. Russian ideologues, instead of orienting Russia towards a culture that enhances its self-corrective mechanisms, they try to normalize Russia’s distortions and present them as an alternative to western liberal democracy.
@Klitschko
Ukraine revived the European ideal: the end of empires, the association based on values, the widening of the scope of moral responsiveness, the respect of subjective conscience and independent thinking.
