Yes. I believe it. They have these huge endowments that they rarely use. Yet they increase tuition every year so that for many of these private intuitions, the tuition is nearing six figures unjustifiably. It’s ridiculous. They know they will get the money either from the parents or the government in the form of grants and humungous loans strapped to the back of teenagers/young adults for their education. At this point, many are graduating with a third to a half of a million dollars in loans when you include the deferred interest that compiled over their 4-5 years- which all gets put into the principal once it comes out of deferment (which is messed up). It’s horrendous. If you all can get that under control, and force them to reduce their tuition to something sensible, that would be a huge win for our country as a whole. Education should not be debilitating.

@TheOnlyEsta No. Not as is. She’s often on point, but she would need to learn temperance in her delivery to be considered. She also has to show she champions all her constituents, not just her Black ones.

Wait, you don’t see the difference between an owner of a 20 year old global company that has retail stores all over the world- and a presence in over 900 stores throughout the world, and someone who doesn’t own anything but is selling samples in grocery stores trying to make ends meet? Yes, Bethenny pivoted and started the Skinnygirl Margarita line and blew up financially after she sold that company while filming their third season. I’m not a big fan of Bethenny. She’s too intense for me. But I appreciated her rags to riches journey that took a few seasons before her brand even got established and put into the world. You made a bad analogy. It’s ok. It happens. There’s plenty of other housewives you could have picked that really did come on with an established company trying to promote it, so the point is valid, just not the person chosen to make the point. @Tommy_N_Gina18 @LoveCindyCee No… they were just showing her hustling. At first, she was grinding and hustling just to pay for her studio apartment. And she had relationships with some of the women before the show. Back then, they didn’t make big money being a HW for Bravo.

@mamanuggle @LoveCindyCee Bethenny literally grew her brand from scratch on the show. We got to watch the entire process as a part of her life. It’s not the same.

When she first got on, she was literally giving out samples of her food at a grocery store- on camera. It’s not the same.
