BREAKING NEWS: Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts delivered a lukewarm warm answer when a reporter asked him how he felt about Trump attending the Super Bowl. He unenthusiastically replied: "He's welcome to do what he wants." In 2018 when the Eagles won their last Super Bowl, many of the players declined to attend the White House celebration with Trump. As a result, the event was cancelled. Hurts has previously called Obama an "all-time leader" and described him as an "uncle figure." Something tells me if they win tonight, they'll decline Trump's invitation again. Good. 💙

OMG. This is horrifying.
A jury in New Jersey awarded $11.5 million to a woman after police arrested her while she was literally suffering a stroke. This is so messed up. Cheryl Rhines had a stroke while driving, so she pulled over, but NJ State Trooper Jennifer Albuja found her and wrongly arrested her for intoxication instead of seeking medical help. Albuja observed Rhines' inability to respond, stand upright, and her facial drooping, but still assumed intoxication despite the absence of alcohol or drugs. The trooper could've taken Rhines to a hospital 5 minutes away, but instead, Albuja searched her car and brought her to a police station, delaying medical care by nearly 3 hours. The delay in treatment led to severe brain damage, leaving Rhines with global aphasia, making her unable to speak or understand language. This happened in 2017. It took 8 years to get a ruling because the state dragged this on and refused to settle for more than $1 million despite Rhines' care costs exceeding that amount.
