Olmo only got a chance at the Euros because Pedri got hurt, remember. Pedri was great in that role before getting injured. Funny enough, it was mostly Culers dragging him because he wasn't as involved, but he was always impactful. Those roles are a bit different (8 for Spain vs Barcelona) but Pedri will be there at some point. Just a question of when.

When I say many years, I’m thinking since ~2016. We saw infrequent glimpses of this under Valverde, but his squad was just too old. He was wise to adjust accordingly (different convo altogether). Not since peak Lucho/MSN have Barça dominated like this.
