Billionaire-owned media were never friends of truth, but things should not matter only when they reach the comfort of western Europeans and north Americans. Another reason why I'm not part of the "let's leave Twitter" this time, and especially not today.
We live in an era of cognitive/digital apartheid and feudalism. Especially humans outside US-Canada-Europe. These are cold observations, not a passionate feeling, from someone living in the lucky side, in Switzerland, English-content consumer with a scientific background, etc.

@PSpagnou @MonsieurPhi Qui ne sont pas des philosophes, mais des polémistes. Dès qu'on cherche un peu dans les revues sérieuses en philosophie, les polémistes médiatiques en France n'ont aucune existence dans la scène académique mondiale.
Ça vaut que mon opinion biaisée: Une partie du bruit nuisible à la conversation publique en France, pays de brillants philosophes comme P.S Laplace, Auguste Compte ou Sophie Germain, est imputable aux institutions ayant récemment érigé des polémistes médiatiques en "philosophes".
