LVUSD is participating in The Great Kindness Challenge! It is a one-week kindness program for grades Tk-8. With a kindness checklist and 50 SEL-focused kindness lessons, students actively create a culture of kindness while strengthening their social and emotional well-being.

As power remains on at all of our campuses and weather conditions continue to moderate, all Las Virgenes Schools will be open tomorrow, January 15th. While we’re optimistic we’ll continue to remain open, we will also be steadfast in continuing to actively monitor conditions.

Out of an abundance of caution, all LVUSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th. We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the night and early morning. We are hopeful that conditions will improve and that all schools can reopen on Thursday, January 9th.
