@CoachHackGO @elimenke to @helming_lance brings back great memories. Two all-time Bulldogs who continue to be teammates this year at the collegiate level. Have helped turn around a struggling program by bringing great culture, effort, and unselfishness. Those things matter! Love these guys.🏀

@romands1 @paulieknep @espn That’s fair. No doubt they were an amazing team in the early 80s. That was the decade that I grew up in and learned to love basketball. Would love to learn more about the Sixers in a 30 for 30.

@romands1 @paulieknep @espn And you’re right. Pistons are certainly more remembered today…because they won back-to-back titles. The number of titles absolutely matters.

@romands1 @paulieknep No argument that they were a factor in the early 80’s. Just like Pistons were a huge factor in late 80’s. Definitely deserve mention but not on same level as LA and Boston. Those two combined for eight of the championships in the decade.

@romands1 @paulieknep Much respect for Moses and Sixers, but absolutely no way they’re at same level in 80’s as Lakers and Celtics. Lakers won 5 titles, and Celtics 3. Sixers only won in ‘83. No shade at Philly, but they never made Finals after that season. The ‘83 team was incredible though.
