A manuscript donated by astronomer and TV presenter Sir Patrick Moore has gone on display at @MillsObs in Dundee. The manuscript for "The Moon – With a Description of its Surface Formations" was donated in 1972 and written by Walter Goodacre.

As a result of damage caused by Storm Eowyn, Grove Swim & Sports Centre will be closed on Saturday 25 January and Sunday 26 January. All other venues are open as normal.

Due to the arrival of Storm Eowyn and the resulting extreme weather, Leisure & Culture Dundee will close all our venues and services today, Friday, 24 January 2025, from 1pm. We expect to re-open on Saturday at normal opening times and look forward to welcoming everyone back.
