1/2 These three images popped into my head during worship on Sunday and Tetrised themselves together. I wrote most of the poem that afternoon and tweaked it a couple days later (and will likely tweak it again sometime).

@AMS_Perkins @RoyalBlueRapto1 Of course it is! The alternative is never talking to them till they learn how to communicate...in which case they'd never learn how to communicate! (I know you know this. Just stating it because we all sometimes feel a little silly talking to them! 😉)

@hannahgrieser I have to tweak the aspect ratio of book covers for Kindle, so many a recent Canon ebook cover has gotten a little tweak to make it the right dimensions.

If a state like Idaho allows selective local lawfare against the free speech of conservatives, then it’s happening everywhere. Rory Wilson (the young man who went viral last spring for blocking anti-Israel rioters trying to break into a school building at Columbia) has also been taking on the state suppression of free speech. Essentially, the city of Moscow, ID chose to make its first-ever enforcement of a public speech ordinance against Rory’s speech critical of the city’s Covid lockdowns—the arresting officer said he “disagreed with the message” and the prosecutor called Rory and others speaking out “religious idiots.” He’s appealing his covid era free speech prosecution to SCOTUS. Could be a precedent setting case that ensures the speech supprsession that happened in 2020 never happens again.
