struggling to balance character design ideas because i get self-conscious whenever i see someone do something similar to what i was making and doing it infinitely better makes me think i'm second-rate af like i love their work and its inspiring but how do people manage this

been fairly radio silent on here but been working A LOT in the background. taking breaks to doodle and i like how this came out so i think i might try to finish it. new juni model is peak.

@PClanky Sometimes, I think about what if the Simpsons characters grew up naturally as it went on. Like by now, Bart would be in Homer's position. I get that no one could have planned for 500+ seasons of the show, but imagine if the Simpsons grew up generationally with the viewers.

had some time to work on sketches and pokemon fusions were on the mind. tried to experiment a bit with them as well, was a lot of fun!

i'm sorry i haven't been very active lately, both with streams and art. been feeling very poor and it's really hard to get myself motivated again. hope i can figure it out before people forget me lol.

Is it me, or does the Twitter feed seem worse since more people are using bluesky? Feels like it went from 40-50% engagement bait posts to upwards of 90% of it. I tried to curate mine to be artists, too.
