By selecting samples from the start and end of the eruption, we identify 1.5wt% H2O loss of melt inclusions from the same olivine population during the eruption. (3/3)

Measuring multiple melt inclusions can identify cryptic heterogenous entrapment of exsolved CO2 at depth. We also select crystals with melt and fluid inclusions in the same inclusion assemblage to directly compare pressures recorded by different inclusion types. (2/3)

New paper out today in @AGU_GCubed on melt inclusions from the La Palma 2021 Tajogaite eruption with @Penny_Wieser and others! We combined new melt inclusion and fluid inclusion data and find both are accurate recorders of deep magmatic storage. (1/3)
