Yes, the Enlist in War mod has a little problem at the moment.😅 A fix for this is ready to go, but I'm still testing some other changes to the mod before releasing it.
A brand new mod is now in Beta!
New Civic Policies adds over 20 new policies to the N.A.P. system introduced in Eco Lifestyle. These add a wide variety of effects and allow you to give your neighborhoods unique character.
Always worth repeating since a lot of people still don't seem to know. If it takes a long time for you to load
#TheSims4
, turn off the mods list on startup. This can save you literally dozens of minutes if you have a bunch of CC.
A new mod, Townie Demographics, is now available for my Gold Patrons for testing and feedback.
This mod makes townies different depending on which neighborhood they're from. Clothes, physical features, names, traits, and even occult status.
Several of my mods have been updated, including fixes to Career Overhaul and the now infamous Infant Solider bug. Enlist in War has received a more thorough overhaul so Sims spend lengthier times away from home, days instead of just hours.
Heads up: I am currently dealing with personal matters that require much of my time, and I will be busy during the patch and pack release. I have limited time for fixing mods if mine end up needing it. Any updates from me will likely be delayed. Thanks for your patience.
The major issue with Career Overhaul Suite has been fixed, and I've added a handful of small changes that were ready to go. Go grab it now, and if you've never used the mod before, now is a great time to start.
Are your Sims being excessively mean to each other since downloading the newest game patch? If you don't have the Lovestruck expansion installed, you're experiencing a new game bug.
I have a fix for it (and other things) available here:
Posted a couple of updates to Home Regions and Townie Demographics to add new features and fix a few bugs, including finally getting restaurants to work with Home Regions filters.
Check out the notes and download links here:
Thank you for your patience. A set of mods has now been updated for patch repairs. I am not finished with my personal matters; content updates will come later once things are back to normal.
See this post for a full list:
A big update for Home Regions is now in Early Access! New filters, new features, and more customizable options than ever.
My patrons can read about it and download here now:
The Basemental Addons update is now available for everyone! Can your Sims successfully legalize cannabis in their home town?
Try it out by downloading here:
The main issue with it I've come across is strays in some of the neighborhoods with a custom name set will get full human names. But, I don't know, sometimes the names are pretty great.
A couple of mod updates are now live. If you were getting conflicts between Career Overhaul and mods like Turbo Careers or Work From Home, I've added some defensive coding to get around that.
Wow, that was quick! Today's patch makes this fix unnecessary. I'll be taking it down shortly and you should remove it once you have updated your game again.

New bug-fix mod, available for everyone: Backpack Book Fix. This prevents Sims from trying to put books away into backpacks, which would break their hands and glitch the book.
Grab it here:
🍕The update for Pizza Preferences is now available for everyone:
Give your Sims likes or dislikes to all the new pizza toppings introduced in the Home Chef Hustle pack!
Patch news:
🔼The Italian translation by ISY for Pizza Preferences has been updated:
🗑️Backpack Book Fix and Yamachan Please Leave are both obsolete and can be removed.
☑️ All my other mods appear to be compatible. Let me know if you have any issues.
For the record, the only mod manager that I've uploaded my Sims 4 content to is the upcoming CurseForge client. Anyone else saying that I've consented to them redistributing my mods or claiming I've endorsed them is lying.
🌎Home Regions has been updated!
This includes all the features from the Early Access period, along with some extra fixes and polishing.
Check it out and download now at
Biggest loser in my mod catalog today appears to be Career Overhaul, which won't even let you load into the game. Luckily the fix appears to be simple (one field got renamed in the code) and I'm getting something ready for hopefully this evening.
Mod updates today for a few old favorites as well as a bunch of new mini-mods to block different annoying notifications.
Check out the post here for more details and download links:
A couple new updates are now available, including for Home Regions!
Also, please note that Pizza Preferences is having issues at the moment, and you need to either add an additional file to get it working or remove it for now.
More details here:
Short version: a lot of my mods got broken by the patch but will magically work again if you update mods like MCCC or Better Exceptions.
Longer version:
Still working to make sure my mods will work on their own and fix any other oddities.👨🔧
A new mod, More Trait Compatibility, in now in Early Access for all my patrons.
This is a simple mod that adds more of the game's traits to the new Social Compatibility system.

ICYMI: Yesterday's SDX came with a fix for the excessive meanness bug. My Mean Socials Fix is no longer needed, but I'm keeping the download available until the next full game patch for those who have SDX disabled.
Mods seem largely unaffected by today's patch across the broad, including mine.
Still got some updates for a few, including Townie Demographics for my patrons:
Simmers, our tuning fix for overly aggressive/mean Sims was intended to come out today however the fix will be delayed to early December. We sincerely apologize for the delay.
Currently in Early Access on my Patreon:
Can you get enough signatures to legalize cannabis in your Sim's town? Or will you find enough leverage to do it another way? New legalization campaign event in Basemental Addons.
With Basemental adding support for legalization in Ciudad Enamorada in today's public update, Basemental Addons now supports it as well if you'd like to use the campaign event.
Update post:
If you're a Home Regions user, you might notice a new debug interaction. This will allow you to assign Worlds to just townies without any Home World. Perfect for moving a bunch of custom townies at once.
The
@CurseForge
platform for The Sims 4 is now open and I'm happy to say a few of my mods are there! Right now, my original traits and Home Regions are available, and I'll be uploading more in the coming days.

From what I've seen, their random outfits are a little better since the pieces all come from the same style now, but they still have terrible color coordination.
More updates are in the works for my traits and other mods, but nothing of mine seems to be causing serious errors right now. Let me know if you notice anything odd interacting with the new content.
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I am back and I brought pizza... preferences. This update adds likes and dislikes for the new toppings introduced in the Home Chef Hustle pack, along with a few other polishes. In Early Access for a short time:
If you're opting into the early DirectX 11 client, you may notice a few of my custom icons are missing. There's been some changes to how images work and I'll be updating these over time. If you notice any broken moodlets or menus, let me know on the Discord server.

There is no reason to be afraid. Even with the filter turned on, my mod does not cause the issue you're describing. If there are no valid teens, the mod will tell the game to make more of them to fill the empty slots.
@AnotherPlumbob
It's not working for the many players who bring their error reports to troubleshooters, trying to figure out why their Sims can't go to work or why their Sims won't follow commands
@CocoTheBrain
I don't know yet to be honest. There's a lot of places in the career tunings that references new traits and lay-off system, but without the pack they're just ID numbers so I can't tell what they do yet. I'll have to play with the pack for a bit to understand the real difficulty.
I've updated the Early Access version of Pizza Preferences to deal with some odd issues with autonomy, among other things. 🍕
Patrons can download it here:
If there are no further issues with this version, it will release early next week.
@sixamite
Those new pack features should function normally, but the mod does not currently take them into account. I will need to actually play the game myself to see them in action.
