@dhananath This is just a single financial year compared to the previous year. Reality is much worse as there is likely still tens of billions of rupees of debt on the airline’s books, even after treasury settling $300Mn of their debt. Treasury means all of us.

MPs need to be better remunerated, cabinet members should have competitive salaries; on the flip side, a member of the cabinet must be qualified & experienced. This “working for free” story is not sustainable & incentivizes all sorts of unethical activities.
