On this solemn day, we commemorate February 6 – the Day of Remembrance of Disaster Victims and Solidarity, declared by the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). We honor those we lost and extend our deepest sympathies to all affected. The tragic earthquakes of 2023 proved the strength of Turkic unity and the power of solidarity in times of crisis. We remain committed to strengthening cooperation in disaster response and preparedness to protect our people and build a more resilient future.

I had the pleasure of receiving H.E. Ankhbayar Danuu, Consul General of Mongolia in Istanbul, at the OTS Secretariat today. We discussed strengthening ties between OTS and Mongolia, exploring new areas of cooperation, and enhancing partnership in various fields. We also exchanged views on upcoming OTS events and Mongolia’s relations with OTS Member States. During the meeting, Consul General Danuu conveyed an invitation letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

I paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) @TurkicFundOrg and had a productive meeting with #TIF President, H.E. Amb. Baghdad Amreyev and General Director, Mr. Ramil Babayev. As the economy remains a key area of cooperation for our Organizations, we discussed ways to enhance economic collaboration and strengthen financial mechanisms for sustainable development within the Turkic world.

Had a productive meeting with Prof. @halukgorgun, Secretary of the Defense Industries of Türkiye, in Ankara today. We engaged in insightful discussions on key developments and enhancing cooperation in the defense Industry. Strengthening partnerships for a safer and more resilient future.

Pleased to welcome the Secretary General of @turksoyorg, H.E. @SultanRaev, to discuss our shared commitment to promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world. We reviewed upcoming events in our organizations’ calendars and explored ways to enhance ongoing coordination and cooperation among Turkic cooperation organizations.

We discussed strengthening economic cooperation among @Turkic_States, advancing trade, investment, and infrastructure projects, and implementing strategic initiatives such as the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement. Confident that Kyrgyzstan’s leadership will contribute to deepening economic integration and fostering sustainable growth across the region.

Had a productive meeting with H.E. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, today in Bishkek. We discussed Kyrgyzstan's ongoing Chairmanship of the @Turkic_States, the implementation of key initiatives, and the roadmap for 2025. Reviewed the organization’s 2024 achievements and upcoming priorities while emphasizing the importance of deepening economic and cultural ties among Turkic States. Confident that Kyrgyzstan’s leadership will further strengthen our unity and cooperation. Looking forward to a dynamic and impactful year ahead.

Today, I had a fruitful meeting with H.E. Marat Imankulov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek. We discussed preparations for the Meeting of OTS Secretaries of Security Councils and emphasized enhancing collective efforts for peace and stability in the Turkic region.

It was a pleasure to meet H.E. Meder Abakirov, the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, in Bishkek today. Warmly congratulated him on his new role and had a very fruitful and engaging discussion about the OTS’s 2025 activity calendar. We talked about the importance of close coordination and strengthening the Secretariat’s capacity. Confident in Kyrgyzstan’s active support during its Chairmanship to advance our shared goals.

Glad to meet H.E. Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan @MFA_Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek today. We reviewed the OTS’s 2024 achievements and outlined plans for the 2025 work program under Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship. Fully committed to advancing our joint efforts to further strengthen cooperation among Turkic States.

On 24 Jan 2025, I met H.E. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy @turkic_academy at the OTS Secretariat. He presented key publications: Food Security and Sustainable Development in Turkic States and Water Future Vision and Cooperation for Sustainability in Turkic States. These works highlight vital issues for our region, and we discussed ways to enhance academic collaboration to promote the Turkic World’s shared heritage and sustainable future.

I had the pleasure of receiving Mr. Barbaros Büyüksağnak, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

It was a pleasure to meet with Prof. Dr. Nevzat Şimşek, Rector of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul. We discussed enhancing educational cooperation among OTS countries, including through the Turkic Universities Union.

Today, I received Mr. Abbas Shahin, Chairman of the Turkish-Kazakh Business Association, at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul. We discussed perspectives on economic cooperation in the Turkic World and look forward to productive collaboration.
