RunningTide is shutting down and instead of blaming execution, science, etc they say "there simply isn't the demand needed to support large scale carbon removal."
That's pretty ominous.
Running Tide was built to heal the ocean and fix our climate for future generations. The mission will live on, but as of today Running Today has begun the process of shutting down our global operations.

...and that small % are being chased by an outsized number of specialized funds.
Result - I am extremely suspect of any generalist fund going after climate hardware.

In 2017, the Port of LA increased its permissible draft from 65ft to 66ft.
per SHIP, that additional foot equaled:
🛢️40k barrels of oil (~$2mn)
