I went back to vet hospital this morning for my surgery. Mum gave me some pills that made me so sleepy I couldn’t walk across the parking lot and kept lying down in the street. Sedation can be a problem with giants. Mum is nervously awaiting my return.

Mum has had migraines for 2 days and we haven’t walked. But she decided I deserved a walk and the headaches were here to stay, so we went anyway. The wind is so strong there are trees down everywhere and the sound of howling wind scares me inside.

We just found out that Daisy was part of a horrible hoarding case in Jan. taken by sheriff to shelter then to rescue because it was a case of 80 seized dogs and 40 found dead. The shelter was overwhelmed. We have to give her our best.

Our Princess is home! Waiting for results of endoscopy next week. It was a treacherous four hour drive with the weather. Our van doors were frozen shut and we had to carry her thru the back. Just happy she’s home safely.

Thank you for your messages. Victoria has been the hospital and has had bloodwork, X-rays, & ultrasound. The endoscopy took a tissue sample which is to rule out cancer. She seems a tiny bit stronger and finally ate a cup of chicken. We have new meds to try.

We had some bad news from our doctor, but we’re going to focus on what we are seeing here. Victoria is getting up on her own to get closer to us & walking in the yard. She’s eating a little and had a bowl of chicken today. Diarrhea is gone today and she slept through the night.

Pupdate: Archie came home from the ER late last night. We went back this morning for a surgery consult. They treated & wrapped his foot again & we have a follow up on Tuesday. We’re happy he didn’t need a 2nd surgery. He’s resting now. He was such a good boy, & didn’t fight us

We went to the vet today & met this poor dog. She was left, pregnant, locked in an empty house to starve, which she nearly did. She had a healthy litter of 5 pups on her own & gave them all her nutrients. She was rescued & our vet saw the post & took them all in. Now she is safe,

Mum took me on an outing. We walked past a window of the local animal shelter’s thrift store and the called us in. They were doing Valentines Day photos. So we made a donation and took a photo. I made lots of friends in the store.

Vincent’s rear end was paralyzed because of a neurological condition. Because of his size, and other health conditions we didn’t want him to continue to suffer. We are devastated. He passed peacefully with Princess Victoria and his parent at his side.

Pupdate: Archie is safely out of surgery. They took the toe and did a biopsy. Results will be back in a week. His toe was completely torn apart to the bone. This happened overnight. We had taken him to ER on Tues. evening when is started to swell. He’ll hopefully come home 1/3

Here I am after daycare. I had a great time & lingered for cuddles from the lady at the front desk. Mum didn’t realize I’d be out in the snizzle & mud. I was soaked & muddy. The staff even took photos of me! I was very popular. I’ll go back, but not until after Christmas.
