For Cosmopolitan, I spent the summer talking to influencers and wandering the uncanny valley of Erewhon. The result is this essay on the surreal world of TikTok grocery content amidst the cost of living crisis.

A Vegas bar for an occasion that requires 0% chance of running into anyone you know: Hitchin’ Post Saloon, opened in 1947 (olddd for this city), open 24 hours, about as far north as you can go before you hit an air force base/open desert. Also an RV park for some reason.
