I have to disagree. I think fitness is more so about being healthy and active than it is about body appearance. And it’s not unrealistic, anyone can gain or lose weight. Everyone’s fitness and gym goals aren’t the same so I don’t believe they perpetuate just one body type.
At the end of the day, gym/fitness culture still perpetuates the same unrealistic beauty standards that leads people to surgery but nobody ever says anything about it cause “health.”.
