I remember when at the start of the year the FIA said they weren't going to allow drivers to shove each other off the track like they had in 2021, yet here we are. Such a joke lol, just fucking allow it at this point instead of pretending to have rules.
No further investigation for Perez and Hamilton or Perez and Leclerc for leaving the track.

I'm disappointed to wake up this morning and find out that
@IndyCar
's exclusive license means that the iRacing Indy 500 and any sort of broadcasting or streaming of the IndyCar on iRacing will be prohibited for 2023 and beyond.

Wow, what a finish. Stuck in the bottom of the top 5 for a majority of the race, but the final yellow played perfectly into my hands after I had just completed my final stop. Thought I was destined for 3rd until the seas parted with 3 to go and I was able to steal one away! (1/2)

iRacing helped me truly fall in love with IndyCar as a sport after being an irregular viewer prior, and I was planning on attending my first few IndyCar races in person in 2023.
All in all such an unfortunate deal for the community, thankful for all the friends I've made in it.

It's a real shame to be one of the cars to beat all race only to be run over by a former teammate in a desperation move when they had plenty of time to pass. It stinks, but we know we have a good package for May. Onto the next one. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work!

Close, but no cigar. Really hard to make up positions today, was pretty much stuck in the same spot all race. Feels good to get a top 5 finish though, much better than barrel rolling down the backstretch like I was last year. Big thanks to Team Talent again for all their work.

Could've gone better but also could've gone much worse. One too many mistakes on my best qualifying lap, then I couldn't thread my way through traffic well enough in the race.

It's almost like they set this based on if you can gain time by going wide in the last corner or something? Turns out gravel isn't quicker than staying on the track, who would've thought?
The race director's event notes will specify when exceeding track limits at the final corner will "result in that lap time and the immediately following lap time being invalidated by the stewards." - most recently in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi/Austin last year. Not in China notes.
