Was #karkotadynasty a kayasth Or a Buddhist dynasty? The answer is no, it was a kashmiri pandit karkun dynasty. This thread will be long because I will be refuting many baseless claims in this so kindly take your precious time out to read the whole thread.

Also, they weren't originally kishtewaris , the kings or chiefs who had lost badly in battle in the outskirts of kashmir always used to took refuge in kishtewar . Kishtewar was originally very less populated place

These Rajputs, who once fled Kishtwar (Kashmir) in fear of Shah Mir (Ų“Ų§Ł‡ Ł…ŪŒŁ–Ų± Ų®Ų§Ł†ŲÆŲ§Ł†) with their tails between their legs, now have the audacity to mock Brahmins over the 1990 'Pandit Exodus'. Isn't it time the government declared this community a national embarrassment?

Neolithic Civilization of Kashmir was extraordinary. Neolithic tools, corresponding to the period of domestication, hafted and used for cutting, chopping, may be multipurpose. May be used as an axe as wellā€.

Wrong damaras(dhar/dar) were actually kashmiri brahmins only but of karkun subsect , lones(lavanyas) too were KP karkun, later many non brahmins adopted these surnames when they converted to izlam. There were no original vedic kshtriyas in kashmir 1. 1891 census 2. 1901 census
