yesterday a really ugly fistfight happened in front of the dj booth as I was playing cheery disco/house in the sun. later on I was playing ragga jungle with nonstop gunshot samples indoors and the whole rave was one big group hug. my point is... I fucking love djing in the UK!

interesting and brave take. personally, I'll take some utterly boring, redundant beats coming from a boxfresh CDJ3000 over any mindblowing, never before heard music being played on a DJ setup below the €2000 mark. that's just me!
I'm late on the CDJ techno twitter discourse as always, but all I have to say that I'd rather see a young kid blowing my mind with music I've never heard, played off a 100$ controller, than what I hear these days from well-functioning and pre-checked USBs.
