Today at 10AM, Guna hamlet in Shwe Zar witnessed another devastating landmine explosion. Ferus lost his life, while M. Nur, M. Junaid, A. Ahmed & Hussein were wounded, adding to the endless toll of violence in Maungdaw. Each blast tears apart more families. 📸: Mg Tin Shwe

Dear MAL & Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, Congratulations on ranking #1 in global criminality. We Rohingya survivors watched you climb to this position through systematic persecution, ethnic cleansing, and genocide denial. Your score reflects every crime you committed against humanity.

Recent #Rohingya arrivals in Bangladesh are seen setting up a new settlement in Camp 20. Families, initially with relatives, forced to relocate due to space & resource constraints. Elderly refugees particularly vulnerable, lacking basic necessities like rice & blankets. @WFP

Perfect birthday location - a prison cell! Your mom, the SHAMELESS defender of mass murderers, now rots where she belongs, jailed by the same butchers she protected. After whitewashing our genocide at The Hague, she's finally tasting the brutality she denied. #MonsterInPrison

Refugee camps don't define us. We are learners, leaders, dreamers. My identity is more than my circumstances. Every educational program, every support network matters. The @EU_Commission sees our potential beyond survival. Thanks to @EU_Commission's support. #WomenEmpowerment

Once a builder, farmer, and craftsman, his hands shaped a future for his family. Each day brought purpose and pride. Now in exile, those same hands reach out for aid—not by choice, but necessity. A stark reminder of how displacement strips away not just homes, but identities.

Supporting Rohingya refugees is one of the big challenges facing the world today. I’m grateful to UN staff and some of the refugees that I spoke to today for illuminating the scale of the challenge.

.@POTUS's new executive order triggers immediate suspension of US-funded operations in #Rohingya camps. Five hospitals & essential services already suspended. US was largest donor ($301M) in 2023, accounting for 55% of total aid. Healthcare crisis looming. #HumanitarianCrisis

THIS. Allowing Rohingya to work isn't charity, it's basic human rights. We, Rohingya refugees aren't looking for handouts - we want opportunities to rebuild our lives, support our families, and contribute to the community. Restrictions only breed more helplessness.

Bangladesh must lift restrictions on Rohingya refugees earning livelihoods. Allow them to build decent homes and be paid for it.

In these camps, we've become prisoners of aid. No land to farm, no jobs allowed, no future to build. Every meal, every medicine, every shelter - all controlled by NGOs. They stripped us of dignity, reduced us to recipients. Is this survival or something systematic? 📷WFP
