When questioned on the task he faced on coming to Stoke he intimated that some of the internal matters were a challenge. He also stated that contract talks will take place with players like Ty and Jordan Thompson. Thompson does have an extension clause that is in Stoke's favour
Regarding Ryan Mmaee not playing . Head Coach stated that there was a disciplinary issue, that Ryan did not train last week. There have been discussions and whilst Mmaee is back in the building, he will not be selected for this weekend

Steven Schumacher on learning about the players said that he didn't over analyse defeats or victories, his approach to them both is the same. He stated that they needed a full week of training and the players are giving everything.
