for some of the best low fantasy artwork around. Not only does he create stunning illustrations, but he also offers valuable insights into historical armor and tips on how to draw them accurately. Follow him right now!
90% of the stuff I draw is what I'd classify as "Low Fantasy," which really just means historical but with artistic liberty.
Big tip on how to make armour look not historical at all is to have long "gambeson" material dangle out from beneath the cuirass (shadiversity style)

This is what we are trying to do with Knight's Path, even though our setting is low fantasy.
Some tips for drawing armour from a non-expert at either.
The stuff I avoid isn't "worse" than the stuff I don't, it just typically does not have the desired forms, shapes, and silhouettes of the real deal.
It isn't my place to say historical is always better, but as

My favorite period is between the 12th and 14th centuries. The armors from that time were simply magnificent! By the way, your game looks wonderful, it has a very nice fairy tale-medieval feeling to it. It reminds me a bit of the Czech fairy tale "Princezna ze Mlejna".

Creatures like Čert (chort), Vodník (Waterman), Krampus (that's German folklore), Leshbear, Grimwolf... it will not be exclusive to slavic creatures, but all the interesting creatures that will naturaly fit into our low fantasy world and will be fun to fight or talk to :)

Dirty, stinky knights in rusty armor. Everyone knows that people didn't bathe in medieval times, and knights didn't care about their armor because it was easier and very cheap to just buy a new one! 💯

Thank you for the offer. At this time, there are no plans to introduce a female player character option. The narrative has been specifically crafted around the character Alryk, and adding a female version would not align with the existing storyline.

Isshin is mechanicaly the best boss fight in videogame history imho. That rewarding satisfactory feeling when you finaly beat him. Nothing come close. But from lore perspective sir Artorias is my favorite.

You didnt look properly my friend 😅 There will be 13 levels. Right now we are working on next 3 that will be mostly chainmail, another 3 will be brigandine/half plate and the last 3 will be full plate armor. And helmets with visors of course 👍

Exactly what I was thinking.Not only that I had to learn so many different things to make the game but then when the game was done I had to learn how to make cinematics and how to cut videos to make somewhat interesting trailer.And on top of that comes all the marketing stuff 🤯
