No. The athletes would never do anything to is stupid. It’s weaklings in the crowd. How about this - Just announce during the game that free tickets have been given by both leagues to veterans and service members distributed through the crowd. They will have a free pass to punch in the mouth anyone booing a kid singing the national anthem for either side. They’ve fought beside each other under both flags in a dozen conflicts and know what those flags and anthems represent. And they know how to sort out problems. Super interesting to see which brave souls want to boo a kid singing an anthem when they’re not sure who exactly is sitting behind or next to them…

Yeah it is J. Here’s another thought on it since you’re in the USA: I posted this because an American buddy texted me and said WTF? So I looked it up and had to say something. Here’s the hardest part: these are actually good people who live in a state funded parallel media universe that constantly feeds a government-sponsored passive aggressive victim culture. About covid, climate, energy, and now the USA. Their media-govt answer to everything is to declare a crisis and make big govt the solution. The current leftist govt is so desperate to hold onto power that they work hard to make Canadians feel like victims. Covid and climate and now the USA are ‘crisis’ moments they love to exploit. That’s the same govt that’s wrecked the economy and national security in almost every way - and illegally doxxed and debarked the truckers and supporters that challenged them while letting fentanyl dealers and known terrorists off the hook. They’ve broken law enforcement and the border and wrecked the relationship with America I just didn’t think they had gotten this far inside the heads of real Canadians. When you see decent people doing something this stupid and gross it’s a wake-up call. We’ll have a new govt by the end of the year. People here actually hate that - dm the weak culture it reflects - even more than my American buddies asking wtf….
