@valdesmongezi1 @Seventowers777 @elonmusk My grandparents were from the former Transkei who worked on the farms and they used many means to let us be classified Coloured. From marrying Khoisan people who were classified Coloured already or Xhosa people who were classified Coloured.

The classification of being Coloured under apartheid was when one of your parents was European and the other not. That was later unused by so-called foreigners from homelands to get citizenship in SA.

The Coloured in Eastern is mostly Xhosa people classified themselves is Coloureds especially on the farms and ruler areas. We use to call it uqukula ibaatjie. Other Colours are mixes between Africans and Europeans and others.
