After a day in this Tesla Model 3 I got back into my petrol BMW and tried to leap into a gap in traffic - but the power & torque just wasn't there! Just noise & delay! I was furious!.You can't call yourself a real driver and tolerate combustion. It's dead, Victorian-era crap.

This is interesting. Etrucks NZ has a fleet of these pure EV Tesla Semi lookalikes on the way from Windrose in China. The manager drove one and says:.104km traveled at a steady 80kph, loaded to 49t. 109kWh used to achieve 1.05kWh/km. That means around 624km with 10% SOC left.

First of these Windrose E1400 big rigs should hit New Zealand in a few weeks. During a test run in China, one got 2253 km fully loaded (49 tonnes) with 2 rapid charges. The trucking industry is ripe for electrification but I suspect many DieselBros ain't gonna like it! 😂
