Most Yorubas were raised to be detribalized. We were also raised to consider the needs of everyone else ahead of Yorubas. We need a reorientation.
Even beyond political divisions and other contentious issues that can cause division, Yorubas don’t support their own enough in social causes compared to how other groups rally around theirs. I think on this, we need a paradigm shift. One for all, all for one. 🤝
