This afternoon, our firefighters responded to a 2-acre brush fire near Bill Beck Blvd and Osceola Parkway, along with Osceola County Fire Rescue, Orange County Fire Rescue, Saint Cloud Fire Department, and the Florida Division of Forestry. Thanks to everyone's quick and coordinated efforts, the fire was contained, and no structures were involved.

All City, Police, and Fire administrative offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day and will reopen on Tuesday, November 12. Garbage and recycling collection will resume as usual.
