Kisiizi Hospital Palliative Care Team is excited to announce the employment of Denis, our first Palliative Care Nurse. This means we will not only be providing palliative care for the hospital patients, but we will be following them up in their homes.

A thanksgiving service for the lives of John and Doreen Sharp (founders of Kisiizi Hospital) will be live streamed from Kisiizi at 8am this morning. Hopefully you will be able to watch back later if you miss this.

We were saddened to learn recently of the death of Doreen Sharp. Doreen was involved in the foundation of Kisiizi Hospital in 1958 with her husband John, the first medical superintendent. Her faithfulness and love for Kisiizi and its people have been an inspiration to us.
