This is daft but if you’re a special needs parent you might understand. My 12 year old son has gone out and finally made a friend, he’s sitting out in the friends trampoline with all the other kids, giggling away and having a great time. I’m so so happy to see it, I could cry!

My son is 12 and a half , I’m watching him beginning puberty and the hormones overtaking him not quite sure what to make of his body changing. Autism makes it harder for him. It’s my job as his mum to help him through it, not to prevent it happening at all. Puberty is normal.

I refused the vax for my then 3 year old severely asthmatic son, he’d already had Covid twice and been fine. I was called up by a senior consultant in NHS Lanarkshire who basically said I was a negligent parent who was risking my son’s life. He picked the wrong mum to bully!

Took my toddler to the park the other evening, there was a gang of teen goths there, and every single one of them was really nice, they played with my son and chatted with me and hubby , said they were in park because they get hassled walking around streets, such a shame for them

I'm so sorry for your loss, that's a lovely thoughtful thing for them to do. When my mum was dying (before covid) we were called to hospital we entered the room to find the nurse holding her hand stroking her hair. They really are the most wonderful people, nurses.

I had the police do this with my son, he wasn’t causing a disturbance he was just very drunk so they stuck him in the car for his own safety and phoned me to come and collect him. I was very grateful they did that.

I looked after a woman who could only remember her dads emotional physical and sexual abuse. The day she was quite verbal and sat and told me why she had to hide from daddy,it broke my heart, I wept. And it gave us staff insight to her aggression which was really just pure fear.
