@TheRealTimHahn1 But that there is a sign. prediction possible can be taken as a hint that there is an (even higher) relationship - that we can at least today not observe with our restricted methodology. !! CAN be !!

@TheRealTimHahn1 IMO a significant (=quite robust) prediction can provide insights into potentially involved mechanisms/regions, although only explaining such a little amount of variance, as the latter results as product from the reliabilities from neural and behavioral measures.

Functional connections between regions proposed by established intelligence theories (P-FIT, @rexjung @rjhaier, @TheColeLab) predicted better than random connections - but whole brain connectivity still predicts best! >> Additional connections important!

And reveal that IQ can be predicted from SC-FC coupling 📢📢BUT only when accounting for brain region-specific communication strategies. ‼️

😃Happy to share this new meta-analysis from my team🥳. We test whether the inclusion of animals🐎🐕 may present a means to reduce drop-out rates in psychotherapy. Unfortunately🙄serious problems in proper study design were frequent - we discuss. See:
