I don’t have children. Not by choice. My body decided it would not allow me to carry any pregnancy to term, so I have been through multiple miscarriages. This Mother’s Day, I am celebrating anyway for the children I lost. ❤️

Cancer scan results arrived this afternoon: cancer-free. 😀❤️Doctor will remove two small tumors from my right leg. Initial analysis says they’re benign but we’ll get rid of them anyway. Removal scheduled for when I am back from Italy.

Very true. The first time I heard someone called Harry referred to as Haz when I was in the UK, I thought they were talking about someone else. I used to be a hugger – but men in Sweden misinterpret it, so I only hug my female friends :) But yeah, we Americans tend to be huggers.

Spoke to my mom. She was very happy to finish her radiation treatments. She was tired but very pleased that her oncologist said that results are looking very good. ❤️

I don’t have fibroids but I started taking extra vitamin D supplements a few years ago, switched to a more Mediterranean diet, stopped using relaxers around 15-20 years ago, and left a high stress work environment. Hoping this is what keeps me healthy.

Today, I was in the supermarket and someone came up to me and asked me, "Are you Kim Golden, the writer?" That's never happened before...and that it happened in the tiny town I live in and not when I was in Stockholm and far more active in writing events is pretty amazing. :)
