Very pleased to see our new paper on cardiac hypertrophy out today in JGP. A great collaboration with JC Han and co at ABI @ABIaucklandacnz
June-Chiew Han, @KimMellor_UAkl et al. @AucklandUni study the effect of primary cardiac hypertrophy on cardiac mechano-energetics and show that despite impaired contractile performance, cardiac mechanical efficiency is preserved in hypertrophic hearts.
