A year on, but still trying to understand how the total votes cast for PTI candidates—witnessed and recorded on 'Form 45' by many at both male and female polling stations in our village—turned different overnight on "Form 47"? And this is just one example among millions!
It's been a year since the mafia stole our votes. Loved to be the first to cast mine at our local polling station, surrounded by unmatched 'josh and jazba'. The people safeguarded their will all day, counting and recording every vote on 'Form 45' by evening. But, as always, the mafia struck at midnight—rigged 'Form 47' and handed the mandate over to their thugs!

The more I give to the community, the more I receive from God’s boundless blessings. Just had @Kahloon_Org extend 5 offer letters to ensure the Health Centre runs throughout the week—2 Medical Officers, a Medical Assistant, an Administrator, and a Housekeeper. I’ll personally cover the salaries. Markets have been incredibly rewarding—PSX ~50%, US stocks ~50%, Crypto ~150%, US Funds ~25%, Pak Fund ~45%. Far beyond what I ever expected with the little experience I have (~4 years). Absolutely in love with my day job (HR). Blessed to soon receive a ~150% bonus from the Company—what an incredible year at work! I couldn’t ask Allah for more. Grateful beyond words!
@KhizarKahloon what amaze me most is his contribution in charity like he is single handedly managing podcasts for people like us, managing his foundation that is doing excellent job in remote area of his village, he is investing in US Markets and doing his own job in HR. His time management is amazing. .like we will die and he will also die, when we look at his contribution and compared it with ourselves, it indeed something to be jealous of. .hats off brother 🫡🫡

I've started hating this “reform" word. Everyone seems to love talking, but none likes doing it and accepting it! Is that not another example of how human beings love rhetorical flourishes, but resist accepting the change!

@javedhassan @SecRubio The tragic war inflicted heavy losses on many, including Pakistan (democracy, human rights, etc.). Whatever has happened in Pakistan over the past few years would not have been possible without the dark shadows of this conflict.

Indeed, that still holds true: The tolerance for holding losers exceeds that for holding winners. Many believe that we lose only when we sell. Despite good experience, I occasionally fall into that trap. The rationale behind doing that would be that I only invest in strong companies that are less likely to remain losers for long. However, I have lately started thinking about the opportunity costs that incur from holding the losers.
