I miss selling books in Kabul. The younger generation read the latest English books with much hope for a better future. Was so proud to see what genres were read for leisure. And most books at KabulReads were sold to girls!

This is how we send a wood package to a family in

mostly books written by women. Long before& during the Soviets&Americans there were many educated,intelligent Afghan women contributing to society.On their own they achieved.Not educating girls will just be another mistake of history

Yesterday these girls inspired me so much. Just a few weeks ago they were injured and lost some of their friends at Kaaj Edu centre and yet they came to another event to get books. They are brave, resiliant and that should show anybody their dedication to education

The burqa is such an unhealthy garment. To not breathe fresh air, not able to see well is bad long term for eyes, no Vit D on skin etc. Humans were made equal to use all our senses to see, to hear, to touch, to taste, to feel. People should have their own choice not be forced.
