I’m literally sobbing reading this beautiful book. The way we take life for granted my heart is aching. As long as the lemon trees grows really teaches you important lessons. First book I’ve ever read that portrayed Islam correctly and beautifully 😭❤️

That Digital sisterhood Quran episode is the reason why I finished reading the Quran during Ramadan this year. It’s also my first time ever reading it from back to front 😭. They proba motivated me. May Allah continue to reward them for all their hard work🥺❤️❤️.

UK needs to start sorting out train tickets within cross country😭 an hour train has no business being £60 +.
Domestic flights in the USA can be so expensive. In fact, a direct flight from London to New York can cost less than some state to state routes! It’s all the same country, so I don’t get why flight prices are so high? 😅Meanwhile people in the UK are flying 4 hours away for £50.

Currently working in publishing and it’s pitching season I’ve been thinking of ideas for a hijabi children’s book 🥺🥺 this is exactly the reason why I want to push it. PS. Thank you Mr T for being the best teacher I’ve ever had! (In year 6 as well!!).
Representation Matters!. A child in our EYFS used to say she didn't always like wearing her headscarf (hijab) because it was different. She watched a recording of me reading the Proudest Blue by @IbtihajMuhammad @metahatem 💙. Now. she's OUR. PROUD. Proudest Blue!. 💙💪🏽

Just opened a parcel from a publisher, and it contains two cans of gin. I am getting really, really tired of publishers sending out alcohol without considering whether or not a person drinks. It's got to the point where it's become offensive.
