@PeterDSousa @stephenaltrogge Yea, I don’t think Voddie’s advice reflected any sort of attitude of competition. Instead, it reflects the heart of Jesus. Jesus knows that if we are tempted to love the world, we will be tempted to be loved by the world.

@IMPERATORAUS Faith without works is dead (I.e. false faith). Their faith was demonstrated by painting the blood on their doors. We are justified by grace through faith alone. But the faith that saves is never alone.
